We built the staging for the Front Commission of the Salgueiro Academy for the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro, developing scenic structures that integrated movement, narrative, and performance in the opening of the school's parade.

The project was based on large scenic books that opened throughout the presentation, using manually operated mechanisms to reveal different scenes of the story presented by the commission. Each element was developed considering functionality during the procession on the avenue, safety of the participants, and integration with the choreography.

The result was recognized by the judges with maximum score: 40 out of 40 points, receiving a score of 10 from all evaluators and guaranteeing Salgueiro's participation in the Champions Parade.

The Carnival of Rio de Janeiro, often called The Greatest Show on Earth, is one of the largest cultural and artistic manifestations on the planet. Every year, samba schools present highly elaborate parades at the Sambadrome of Marquês de Sapucaí, bringing together thousands of participants, monumental floats, music, dance, and staging in a celebration that mobilizes millions of people in Brazil and around the world.

We continue to build staging with respect for scale, tradition, and the technical responsibility that events of this magnitude demand.
